No Man’s Sky has just dropped Voyagers (Update 6.0) for No Man’s Sky, and it’s nothing short of transformative. For a game that’s always been about freedom and exploration, this update takes that vision to the next level by letting players design, build, and live inside their very own colossal starships.

Build Your Own Corvette-Class Starship
The highlight of Voyagers is the introduction of Corvette-class starships, massive vessels that players can assemble piece by piece. Every hull plate, wing, internal corridor, or bunk bed is customizable, giving players the freedom to create ships that are as sleek or as hulking as they want.
Unlike base building, which is planet-bound, these Corvettes travel with you everywhere. They’re more than just vehicles—they’re homes, community hubs, and multiplayer playgrounds. You can decorate interiors, plant greenery, cook in a personal kitchenette, or even install advanced refiner units for crafting on the go.
Habitation modules come in three distinct styles:
- Titan-class: rugged, industrial, military-inspired.
- Thunderbird-class: raw, outlaw-themed, with exposed pipework and gritty aesthetics.
- Ambassador-class: clean, futuristic interiors with sleek lines and sci-fi elegance.
Whether you want to impress allies with the militaristic Titan cockpit, embrace the aerodynamic Thunderbird design, or enjoy the panoramic views of the Ambassador-class, your Corvette becomes a true extension of your playstyle.

Step Out of the Pilot Seat
For the first time, you can freely walk around inside your ship mid-flight. From med bays and war rooms to sleeping quarters and observation windows, the interiors are fully explorable. And if you want to take things further, you can literally step out into space—float around your ship’s hull and experience the cosmos up close.
Autopilot systems allow Corvettes to handle navigation while you and your friends focus on exploration, decorating, or just admiring the view. You can even skydive from orbit, leaping from your Corvette into a planet’s atmosphere before engaging your jetpack to land safely.
Multiplayer Crews and Missions
Voyagers pushes cooperative play into new territory. Players can invite friends aboard their Corvette, assign roles, and embark on missions together. The new Mission Radar turns your Corvette into a mobile hub for multiplayer objectives—harvesting, fighting, gathering treasure, and more—all while strengthening your standing with local factions.
And yes, you can literally taxi your friends across the galaxy, offering a ride to stranded allies or bringing your entire crew along for the next big adventure.
Corvette Expedition and Rewards
A brand-new community expedition challenges players to build their first Corvette under dire circumstances: your old ship has been destroyed, Sentinels are closing in, and your Corvette is your only refuge. Completing this expedition unlocks exclusive rewards, including:
- The Deadeye Cannon Upgrade for deep-space combat.
- The Plasma Starship Trail, replacing traditional exhaust with dramatic plasma thrusters.
- The Vigilant Jetpack Trail, infused with glowing relic energy.
- The adorable Mecha-Mouse companion, a robotic critter to accompany you on your journeys.
Visual and Technical Enhancements
Voyagers isn’t just about ships—it’s also packed with technical upgrades. PC players with NVIDIA RTX cards can enable DLSS 4, PlayStation VR2 users now benefit from Spectral Super Resolution, and Intel XeSS 2 support has been added as well. The update also implements MBOIT transparency rendering, improving the way light passes through glass surfaces like ship windows and aquariums.
Other highlights include:
- Hero lighting to ensure player characters look great in any environment.
- Improved rendering for clouds, particles, distant objects, and shadows.
- Significant performance optimizations across PC, consoles, and VR—reducing load times, increasing framerates, and making exploration smoother than ever.
Twitch Campaign and Community Features
To celebrate the update, Hello Games is running a Twitch Drops campaign where players can earn in-game rewards simply by watching streams. Even if you don’t own the game yet, rewards will be waiting in your account once you dive in.
Bug Fixes and Quality of Life
Voyagers also comes with a long list of fixes and improvements:
- Full control rebinding on consoles.
- More accurate travel time estimates on HUD markers.
- Easier management of overlapping planetary bases.
- Improved UI scaling, translations, and scroll speed.
- New loot opportunities with increased buried salvage and ancient bones.
A Milestone for No Man’s Sky
No Man’s Sky calls Voyagers one of its biggest updates ever, and it’s easy to see why. Ships are no longer just transportation—they’re living, breathing spaces central to every adventure. With interiors, customization, multiplayer crews, and expanded technology, No Man’s Sky feels like it has crossed into a bold new era.
Whether you’re playing on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, Mac, or through Game Pass, Voyagers is live now and ready to redefine how you see the stars.
