A First Look at Light No Fire
Before we jump into the Sentinel ships, let’s quickly mention the latest tease from Sean Murray himself. During the most recent patch notes, Sean revealed that big progress is being made on their next fantasy game, Light No Fire. This is the first real hint of updates on the project in a long while, and speculation is already running wild. Could we see it revealed at The Game Awards next week? Time will tell.

Sentinel Ship #1: The White Class S Discovery
Our journey starts in the Euclid galaxy, on a frozen planet patrolled by aggressive Sentinels. After locating the correct base marked “White Sentinel Ship S Class,” explorers will find a gorgeous white Sentinel ship. It’s a solid Class S immediately, boasting a strong damage bonus.
The challenge? The icy terrain makes spotting the white ship against the snow surprisingly difficult. But once you see it, there’s no mistaking its beauty. With teleporters nearby, access is simple, and this ship has already become a fan favorite.
Sentinel Ship #2: The Yellow and Black Find
The second ship, shared by a player named Lazy on Discord, is a striking yellow and black Sentinel vessel. Found on a massive mountainous planet, this ship starts as Class C but can be upgraded into something spectacular. Once enhanced, it reveals a powerful four-supercharged layout.
The planet itself is a sight to behold — towering peaks nearly brushing the clouds and a shifting atmosphere that makes the ship shine even more. This find is proof that some of the community’s most unique ships come from shared discoveries.
Sentinel Ship #3: The T-Shape and L-Shape Duo
Next, explorers will encounter not one, but two Sentinel ships on the same planet. These are a T-shaped and an L-shaped four-supercharged pair, beginning at Class C.
The planet is dangerous, crawling with titans and strange wildlife, but for those brave enough, the reward is worth it. The colors are debated — some say purple and black, others call it light blue or gray. Either way, both ships are among the most distinct Sentinel finds to date. Credit here goes to Mugsy, who has shared countless discoveries with the community.
Sentinel Ship #4: The S-Class Green World Treasure
Moving into the Eissentam galaxy, explorers can access this system through the anomaly teleporter. The fourth ship is located on a lush green planet with a striking pink atmosphere.
Marked by multiple bases and communication stations, the site can be chaotic at first. But persistence pays off: this Sentinel ship spawns as an immediate Class S with incredible maneuverability. Many players rank this vessel as one of the best handling Sentinel ships in the game.
Sentinel Ship #5: The All-Black Sentinel
Last but not least, we have the legendary all-black Sentinel ship, discovered by Scott. This vessel features sleek black wings and remains one of the most visually stunning ships in No Man’s Sky.
Scott was also the first to demonstrate how to reliably find four supercharged slots together, sharing his method with the community on Discord. While the supercharges on this specific black ship don’t line up perfectly, its stats are impressive and its design unmatched.
Final Thoughts: Which Sentinel Ship Wins?
Each of these five ships has its own story, its own planet, and its own adventure tied to it. From icy worlds and chaotic storms to mountainous vistas and lush alien skies, the hunt for these Sentinels is as memorable as flying them.
Now the question goes to you:
Which of the five Sentinel ships is your favorite — and why? Share your thoughts in the comments, and let’s see which design stands above the rest in the No Man’s Sky community.
And if you’re curious about even more Sentinel ship secrets, stay tuned. The adventure never stops, and the universe is always waiting to surprise you.
