What Are Relics?

Relics come in two categories: Active Relics and Passive Relics.
- Active Relics work similarly to Glyphs and Drone abilities. You equip them in the ability menu, and they activate based on cooldown timers rather than consuming your Lymbic Energy. These are situational game-changers—perfect for boss fights or when you’re overwhelmed.
- Passive Relics, on the other hand, act more like permanent buffs. Once equipped, they’re always active, offering defensive boosts, offensive bonuses, or resource regeneration. These give you the freedom to experiment with custom builds, tailoring your approach to your preferred combat style.

Final Tips for Using Relics
- Time your cooldowns wisely – don’t waste instant-kill relics on minor enemies. Save them for Hazes or boss encounters.
- Experiment with builds – Passive Relics allow for unique playstyles. Want to tank through damage? Equip The Crucible of Fire. Prefer sustain? Try The Bloodseeker.
- Don’t forget puzzles – cooldowns tick down even during conversations or puzzle-solving. Use this downtime to reset timers before combat.
Relics are more than collectibles—they’re essential survival tools in Hell Is Us. Mastering them will make the difference between barely surviving and dominating the battlefield.
