What is the Arena?
The Arena is a place where you fight against various opponents to prove your strength and earn rewards. It’s a great way to make some money (Gold) and experience the excitement of battle in Oblivion Remastered.
Step-by-Step Guide to Join the Arena
- Complete the Tutorial: First, you need to finish the tutorial section of the game, which takes place in the sewers. Once you’re done with the tutorial, you’re ready to go out and explore.
- Fast Travel to the Imperial City Arena: After exiting the sewers, open up your map and fast travel to the Imperial City Arena. This will save you time since the Arena is located in the heart of the city. If you prefer to walk there, you can, but fast travel is the easiest way.
- Talk to Hundolin: When you arrive, you’ll find Hundolin standing outside the Arena. Speak with him, and he will direct you to Owyn, the Blademaster.
- Enter the Bloodworks: Turn left and you’ll see a door leading to the Arena Bloodworks. This is where the combatants prepare before matches.
- Speak to the Redguard: Inside the Bloodworks, take the first left and head to the far end of the room where you’ll find a grumpy Redguard. Choose the option to become a combatant, and he’ll give you a Blue Raiment (a special outfit) that you need to wear to participate in the matches.
- Get Ready for Your First Match: The Arena opens for matches from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Talk to Owyn when you’re ready to start your first fight.
Fighting in the Arena
- The First Fight: Don’t worry about the first match—it’s super easy! It should take you less than three minutes to defeat your opponent. Make sure to equip your magic spells and weapons before heading through the door to the Arena.
- Health and Stamina: After your first match, you can head back to the Basin of Renewal in the Bloodworks to restore your health, stamina, and magic. This will help you get ready for the next fight.
- Earnings: Once you win a match, talk to Owyn again to receive 50 Gold as your reward. You can start the next match immediately after, and you’ll continue to earn Gold after every victory.
Tips for Fighting in the Arena
- Don’t Loot Opponents: After you win a match, don’t try to loot your opponent’s corpse. It’s forbidden, and if you do, you’ll be penalized.
- Keep Going After the First Matches: If you go to the Arena right after exiting the Sewers, the first few fights will be very easy. However, after every three matches, the difficulty will increase. It’s best to stop after the Bloodletter fight if you’re still new to the game. You can always return later when you’ve leveled up and become stronger!
- Earn Trophies and Achievements: As you progress in the Arena, you will rank up after every three matches. Winning these matches will reward you with a trophy or achievement, adding to your collection!
Why Join the Arena?
The Arena is not only a fun and exciting challenge, but it’s also a great way to earn Gold. The more matches you win, the more Gold you’ll earn, and you’ll gain combat experience that will help you in the rest of the game. It’s also an excellent way to enjoy Oblivion Remastered without focusing too much on the main storyline.
So, put on your Blue Raiment, sharpen your weapons, and get ready to fight in the Arena!
With this guide, we hope you’re now ready to step into the Arena and start your journey as a combatant in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Remember, it’s all about having fun, winning battles, and earning Gold! Enjoy your time in the Arena, and good luck with your fights!
