Super Mario. Bros Wonder A New Hub: Bellabel Park
At the center of this new edition is Bellabel Park, a fresh area where players can explore a variety of activities outside the main game. Within the park, Attraction Central features three different plazas, each offering unique multiplayer experiences.
The Local Multiplayer Plaza allows up to four players to play together on the same system, with access to 17 attractions that can be played in both versus and cooperative modes. The GameShare feature also enables one copy of the game to be shared locally with other players.
In the Game Room Plaza, players can connect via local wireless or online play using separate systems. Up to 12 players can participate simultaneously across six different attractions. Meanwhile, Tour Plaza offers a sequence-based experience where players compete or cooperate across multiple attractions in a single session.

Toad Brigade Missions and Progression
Another key feature in Bellabel Park is Camp Central, where players can access the Toad Brigade training missions. These missions are based on courses from the main game and support one to four players on a single system.
There are a total of 74 training courses available, which are unlocked progressively as players advance. Completing these missions allows players to rise through the ranks of the Toad Brigade, with the goal of achieving the Elite Explorer status.
Park Customization and Rewards
Players can earn a resource known as Bellabel Water by participating in activities throughout the park. This resource can be used to grow flowers in designated areas, allowing players to customize the appearance of Bellabel Park.
As more flowers are cultivated, additional elements such as greetings and musical features become available. The Poplin Band, for example, expands as the park develops, adding dynamic audio elements to the environment.
New Characters and Gameplay Additions
This edition introduces Rosalina as a playable character, who shares similar abilities with other core characters and can use power-ups throughout the game.
Additionally, the seven Koopalings return, appearing across different worlds in the Flower Kingdom. Players must track and confront them as part of the expanded gameplay content.
A new power-up has also been added, allowing players to transform into a flower form with unique abilities such as launching attacks and extending jumps.
Expanded Gameplay Options
New mechanics include the addition of Double Badges, which combine two badge effects into a single ability, offering more flexibility in gameplay. These combinations can either simplify challenges or increase their difficulty depending on the player’s choice.
The character Luma also appears as a support option in multiplayer. Players can control Luma to assist others by defeating enemies and collecting items, with an alternative control scheme available for accessibility.
An Assist Mode has been implemented, allowing players to experience the game without taking damage. In this mode, falling during a level results in recovery rather than losing a life, making the game more accessible to a wider range of players.
Amiibo Integration
Three new amiibo figures themed around Super Mario Bros. Wonder are compatible with this edition. Using amiibo can alter decorative elements within Bellabel Park and provide in-game bonuses such as power-ups during levels.
Upgrade Availability
Players who already own Super Mario Bros. Wonder on the original Nintendo Switch can access this new content through a paid upgrade pack, enabling the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features without requiring a separate full purchase.
